Please Donate to Paws!

PAWS is a no-kill animal shelter dedicated to improving the lives of homeless, unwanted, and neglected dogs

and cats by providing critical medical care, emotional support, and love until they find their forever homes.

  • Spay and Neuter:  Help us make sure that every dog and cat who leaves our shelter is spayed or neutered.

  • Trap/Neuter/Release (TNR):  Help spay and neuter some of the thousands of feral (wild) cats in Fairfield County.

  • Critical Care (Cosmo) Fund:  Provide critical medical care above and beyond basic spay/neuter and vaccines (such as dentals and surgeries).

  • The Pet Animal Welfare Fund:  Provides a long term source of funds to support and sustain PAWS’ financial viability to help animals now and in the future. Please contact our Executive Director, Ellen Simmonds, for more information. ellen.simmonds@pawsct.org, (203) 750-9572 (PAWS) or (203) 414-7030 (cell).

Thank you so much for your generous support of our cats and dogs. We exist solely on the contributions of individual animal lovers like you. We do not receive funding from any local, state, or federal organization.

PAWS has been helping animals in need since 1962. Our dedicated staff and volunteers provide shelter, medical attention, and love to the dogs and cats in our care. We work hard to find the right pet for your home and the right home for every pet. Challenge accepted! We rescued and placed for more than 650 cats and dogs last year.
