SAVE THE DATE: PAWS 4th Annual "Bark in the Park" Dog Walk Fundraiser!

BITPlogo.jpg

On Saturday September 17th, 2011 you and your dog can lend a paw to help homeless animals in our community receive the most precious gift of all - a second chance at love. The main event is a dog walk on the scenic wooded trails of Cranbury Park in Norwalk, CT but there are lots of other activities planned such as vendors, demonstrations, food concession, PAWS merchandise for sale and great prizes for those that participate in the walk.

"Bark in the Park" will take place at Cranbury Park in Norwalk, CT on Sat. Sept. 17th, 2011 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Last year we raised over $40,000 as dogs and the people they own registered to walk the wooded trails and collected donations from friends and family to help support the programs and services at PAWS. Programs supported included adoption services for homeless animals at PAWS, low cost spay/neuter programs, The Cosmo Fund to help PAWS animals with severe medical issues, community outreach and education and more!

The event includes vendors, activities, food, demonstrations and a dog walk through the Orchard Trail of Cranbury Park.

This year our goal is to raise at least $50,000 and there are many ways you can be a part of this day filled with fun, fur and dog drool!

  • Register to raise funds and walk your dog on the trails: There are goody bags for all registered walkers and the first 100 walkers to register receive an official "Bark in the Bark" T-shirt!
